Backus to offer free prostate cancer screening

NORWICH – The William W. Backus Hospital will offer free prostate cancer screenings on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the hospital’s Ambulatory Medical Care Center, which is off the main lobby.

Appointments are required.  To register, call 860-889-8331 ext. 2495.

Urologists Dr. Franklin Friedman and Dr. T. Casey McCullough will be performing the exams.  Blood will be drawn for the PSA test.
