Family Day at Mohegan Park

Backus Hospital was proud to be one of the sponsors of Family Day in Mohegan Park Sunday, September 18. This was a very successful event that brought more than 1000 visitors to view the many exhibits set up by public and private agencies serving families in this region. Several junior nursing students from UCONN were on hand to help out with the Backus exhibit which offered advice on how to stop smoking, how to wash hands thoroughly and also the need to wear a bicycle helmet.
