Skies clear in time for Plainfield Relay for Life

In the morning there was a downpour. But when the Plainfield Relay for Life began Saturday at 11 a.m. the skies had cleared and cancer survivors, caregivers, families and friends flocked to Lions Field next to the Plainfield Town Hall for the 10th anniversary of The Relay For Life of Eastern Connecticut. Backus' Wendy Brennan headed up an enthusiastic team of helpers and participants at this year's event.
