Keeping Babies Safe: Stop the Whooping Cough outbreak

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently reported that 13 states, including Connecticut, have seen the number of cases of pertussis, also known as whooping cough, triple within the last year. Backus Hospital is partnering with the Uncas Health District to make people aware of this illness and to provide immunizations for parents and other caregivers of infants.
