NORWICH – The Backus Health System added three new members – a physician, a nurse and a college administrator – to its Corporation Board of Directors and The William W. Backus Hospital Board of Trustees at its Annual Meeting Wednesday.
NORWICH – Hospitals are generally considered safety nets in the community, especially their emergency departments. But in reality, taking care of people before they end up in the ER is much more strategic and effective.
Always a popular event, the annual Backus Holiday Dinner took place Wednesday, Dec. 12 in the hospital's cafeteria and also at off campus locations.
