Volunteers: The roots of our success
Question: Who works 45,000 hours - for free. Answer: The Volunteers at Backus Hospital. Friday, April 26, our volunteers were honored during a luncheon at the Holiday Inn in Norwich. The 496 volunteers have contributed 45,000 hours of service to the hospital and help out in 40 different departments. They are the “roots of our success” and we thank them for all they do.
