Backus Emergency Care Center Groundbreaking

More than 100 people gathered at Lion's Park at Town Hall to enjoy a picnic and celebration following the groundbreaking ceremony for the Backus Emergency Care Center on Route 12 in Plainfield. The event included the Crash Test Dummies, Backus mascot Traumaroo and the new Billy Backus remote ambulance, all of which were hits with the crowd.

Champions of Care honored at Employee Recognition Dinner

Backus employees were honored at the 54th Annual Employee Recognition Dinner Thursday, April 12, at Foxwoods Resort Casino's Grand Pequot Ballroom. Those honored have a combined 3,355 years of service, including 12 with 35 years of service. Here are a few photos from the event.
