With cases of pertussis, also known as “whopping cough” rising at alarming rates, Backus Hospital is partnering with the Uncas Health District to protect infants by providing immunizations for parents, grandparents and caregivers.
This year alone, it is estimated that 250,000 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Imagine sitting in a doctor’s office and being told that you or your loved one has breast cancer.
