NORWICH – Nurse Kathy Franco and a team from Hospice Southeastern Connecticut will discuss end-of-life care and comfort for the terminally ill in “Caring For A Dying Loved One” on Thursday, June 10, from 6:30-8 p.m. in The William W. Backus Hospital entry-level conference rooms.
The event is free but registration is requested by calling 860-889-8331, ext. 2495.
The panel for the program includes experts including a nurse, a chaplain and a social worker. They will provide information and strategies for families to help them manage difficult decisions during an emotionally trying time.
This session is the final event of the Backus Health Education Department’s monthly lecture series “Family Matters,” which began in September.
