Your gift to Backus is a gift to the entire community. We are always grateful for our donors’ support. Our benefactors make sure Backus stays on course.
At Backus, we rely on our donors to help chart the course of healthcare for eastern Connecticut. Last year — even as the national recession tightened its grip — donors helped keep healthcare moving forward. Our community provided $1.1 million in charitable gifts this past year. To generate those funds through hospital services would require additional revenues of $28 million, at a 4% operating margin.
