Weekend Childbirth Preparation Class
A two–day weekend class covering the third trimester of pregnancy, labor, comfort techniques, medical procedures, newborns, and postpartum expectations. Includes a tour of the Birthing Center.
Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Main Lobby Conference Room. $55. Register early.
When: Saturday February 9 & Sunday February 10, 9:30 am-1:30 pm

Prenatal Yoga Class
Learn safe and effective ways to feel good and revitalize yourself to enjoy your pregnancy and motherhood.
When: Saturdays February 2, 9, 16, & 23, 11:30 – 12:30 pm
Where: All Hearts Center for Yoga & Wellness, 12 Case St., Suite 208, Norwich
There is $15 fee per class or $13 per class when five or more are purchased together. Registration is required.

Teen Childbirth and Infant Care
A two-evening childbirth preparation class to prepare adolescent couples for labor and delivery. A second evening class on newborn care follows.
When: Monday February 18, 4 – 7pm

Nurturing your Newborn – An Infant Care Class
Two-hour class teaches normal newborn behavior, tests and procedures in the hospital, and how to care for your baby in the first few days at home. Topics include: safe sleep, swaddling, bath demonstration, feeding, newborn appearance and behaviors and when to call the doctor.

Breastfeeding Preparation
For the expectant woman and her support person – Learn breastfeeding tips for success!

Infant – Child CPR
Learn how to give CPR to infants and children from a CPR Certified instructor.
When: Tuesday February 12, 6 – 8 pm

$20 per person/$35 per couple; classes are limited to eight, register early.

Doctor Dad Series
Designed for the expectant or new father. Class will include information on the well child, sick child,injured child and safe child.
When: Tuesdays February 19, February 26, March 5, & March 12, 6 – 8 pm

Sibling Class
One-hour class helps big brother or sister, ages 3-6, prepare for the new addition. Tours of the Birthing Center and practice caring for a new baby are included, so bring a favorite doll or stuffed animal.

Expectant Grandparent Seminar
Designed to bring expectant grandparents up to date with current information about pregnancy and childbirth, breast and bottle feeding, home safety for babies and toddlers, variations in the newborn and baby care.
