As part of National Volunteer Week, Backus honored its own group of volunteers during a special luncheon at the Holiday Inn in Norwich April 15. Here are some scenes from that event. The work these folks do is amazing. They have given 47,414 hours of service to Backus Hospital this past year, 38 departments were assisted, and a total of 464 senior and junior volunteers donated their time helping out in many, many ways at Backus Hospital.
