Backus to host “Anxiety Society” talk
March 1, 2012
NORWICH – The William W. Backus Hospital is presenting “Anxiety Society: Dealing with Anxiety and Stress in these Tough Times” on Monday, March 19 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the hospital’s main entrance conference rooms at 326 Washington Street in Norwich.
Backus mental healthcare providers, Justin Sleeper, RN, and Eric Sandberg, PhD will be the guest speakers.
“Stress and anxiety are inevitable parts of life,” said Dr. Sandberg. “In our present culture, however, they can easily get out of hand and overwhelm other aspects of our lives. In this discussion, we will explore how to use stress and anxiety to improve our lives, along with how to keep them at a manageable level.”
