Backus hosts Asthma program in Baltic

NORWICH – The William W. Backus Hospital will host a “Managing Your Asthma” program on Tuesday, June 4, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Sprague Community Center on West Main Street in Baltic.
Setu Vora, MD, a pulmonologist on the Backus Medical Staff, will discuss the signs and symptoms of asthma, and how it can be treated. Dr. Vora will also be available to answer audience questions about asthma. A Backus registered respiratory therapist will administer asthma control tests.

This event is part of a long-term initiative aimed at improving overall health in the community by offering a comprehensive schedule of health screenings, educational programs, primary care access, support services and more.
