Backus Safety Camp a big hit
The annual Backus Safety Camp, celebrating its 10th anniversary, was a big hit Saturday, June 14, with more than 450 people attending. The camp provides children and their families a chance to learn about safety and health issues including germs, lead paint, electricity and fire safety lessons. The event is organized by the Backus Trauma and EMS Departments and American Ambulance.
