Dr. Dennis Slater, is a medical oncologist on the Backus Hospital medical staff, medical director of oncology services and an attending physician in the Anticoagulation Clinic. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Washington University and a medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine. Board certified in medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he is an assistant clinical professor of medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine
