Vanessa Johnson, MD, MPH, is a hematologist/oncologist on the Backus Hospital medical staff. She earned medical degree from Cornell University Medical College and master of public health from Columbia University School of Public Health. She completed a residency in general internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology/oncology through Brown Medical School. She is a board-certified hospice medical director, and certified by the American boards of Oncology, Hematology and Internal Medicine.
