Conditions & Treatments

Sleep problems are remarkably common. Approximately 40 million Americans suffer from some kind of sleep disorder.

Sleep problems can increase your risk for high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease and other health problems. They can also be a safety risk - 200,000 reported automobile accidents each year are sleep-related!

A sleep problem can also affect home life, your job performance and your sense of well-being. Sometimes there are simple things you can do to help your sleep problems. But when practical tips for a good night's sleep aren't effective, professional help may be necessary.
