My care giver understands my positions even when she disagrees with my decisions. She shows me respect but also warns me of the possible consequences in a firm, polite way.

I switched my care to Dr Decena from Dr Kegel. She as well as her office is very efficient and caring. Unlike Dr Kegel's office.

At first she was really nice and seemed like she knew what she was doing but that's what they usually do at first. I needed my medication changed as I was having side effects, and she was very rude and snapped at me asking what do you recommend for medication?! I was like, I don't know I'm not the doctor!! The audacity of some people.. Like excuse you, you work for me, not the other way around!! My insurance may be the one paying you but I'm the patient and it's because of the patient's that you have a job. And it's my body, so it's literally my decision and people should not have to feel bad for advocating for themselves. I am most certain that I did not ask her opinion, and I really don't care for it because again it's my body; not hers, and my right to change medication. As the one getting paid, it's her job (and no one shouldn't have to tell her that), which means you're researching it, not me. Not my job, not my problem!!! .. Unless I'm getting paid!! ***AND, she also lied on my chart Plus stating that I wore my heart monitor for a whole month; which I did not. I only wore it for a few days because that thing was so annoying, and also hurt me, and left a mark. Now it's leading others to believe, that throughout the whole month my heart was okay. Still she's a liar, meaning she can't be trusted. Plus, when I called I got transferred to the nurse the other day because I was having heart issues for days, and needed a sooner appointment; she said waiting for a month was appropriate, and it was not!! Especially, since the nurse was well aware that the ambulance came the same day I called her, and said I should schedule a sooner appointment with my heart doctor then; since I'm refusing to go to the hospital because I was stable at that time. I have SVT!! Not that serious but it's still a heart issue. Glad I switched cardiologists, hoping this one is better; although it's at the same place. I just refused to talk to any nurse anymore on the phone it's not worth it!!
