The Student Volunteer Program at Backus Hospital gives high school students the opportunity to explore careers in healthcare, as well as provide services to our patients and staff.
The Student Volunteer Program, funded through donor dollars, offers high school students volunteer opportunities, mentorship, career development, and career shadowing experiences. We hope that junior volunteers continue to higher education or vocational training in careers they learn about at Backus. For more information, please email us at Backus.Volunteers@hhchealth.org.
The Student Volunteer Program follows the academic calendar. Applications are accepted from August through December.
