Nutritional Counseling

At Backus Out Patient Care Center, Nutritional counseling is provided by Registered Dietitians. Our dietitians will help you to develop an eating and life style plan that it right for you and can help you to meet your individual health goals.

Good nutrition is essential for overall health.  An individualized meal plan can help you to manage: 

  • A healthy weight
  • Diabetes
  • Heart Disease and Cancer risks
  • Gastrointestinal concerns: Celiac Disease, IBS, IBD, GERD
  • Kidney Health
  • Food Allergies

All consults require a referral from your primary care provider.  Your initial consult with be for 45 to 60 minutes. Follow up appointments are for 30 minutes.
