The Boutique at Backus Hospital To support our cancer patients and their families through their treatment and into their recovery, The Backus Boutique offers personal care and support items for patients undergoing various treatments for many different cancers, with a special focus on the breast cancer patient.

The Boutique recognizes that every day is important in the life of a cancer patient, and often it is looking good that makes us feel better. With that in mind, the Boutique will offer an array of goods and services meant to assist in healing mind, body and soul — as well as products designed to enhance your comfort and appearance while undergoing treatment.

Hair alternatives, including a selection of hats, head-wraps and wigs
Non-metallic deodorants and skin care products
Skin lotions and toiletries, including Miaderm and Calendula, which are creams recommended for radiation patients
Inspirational items and gifts, including the Breast Cancer Survivors Pink Hugs.

In addition to the Backus Breast Health Patient Navigator program, a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, nutritionists, complementary care practitioners (CHI), counselors and other providers stand behind The Backus Boutique ready to answer questions and assist you in your journey to survivorship.
